About Amory Verroulx Counseling

Amory Verroulx, mental health counselor and therapist in Bangor Maine

Amory Verroulx, M.A. M.S., BCBA, NCC,  LCPC-C

Hello! I'm Amory Verroulx, a LCPCC in the state of Maine (conditionally licensed clinical mental health counselor), a NCC (Nationally Certified Counselor), and BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). That alphabet soup of letters let's you know that I have over 20 years of experience helping others to change their lives and reach their goals.

I'm a graduate of Husson University in Bangor, and I am privileged to support the Bangor and broader Maine community. My professional history has spanned multiple careers working in group homes, education, school administration, university instruction, providing crisis de-escalation training, and at home and school based behavioral analytic services. My favorite roles have been those that involve helping others to learn and grow (counselor, coach, mentor, teacher, etc.). I enjoy being in the outdoors, gardening, and activities that allow me to move my body.

I provide in office counseling and therapy in my Bangor, Maine office. I also provide telehealth counseling and therapy to individuals anywhere in Maine. I work particularly well with those who want to make a change in their lives, those who hold heavy responsibility, and those that are more familiar with taking care of everyone else rather than themselves. I also enjoy those who are going through a process to rediscover who they are and how they want to show up in the world.
